The 18.5-inch CAT5 LCD KVM over IP Switch integrates a 18.5” LCD monitor, keyboard/touchpad and a Cat5 KVM switch in a 1U rack mount housing. An extra console port is provided on the rear panel to manage the LCD KVM switch from an external console.
The KVM Cat5 LCD KVM over IP Switch has a built-in 18.5” LCD monitor that supports resolution up to 1920 x 1080 60Hz. The IP Switch also provides VGA, DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort KVM adapter cables to link to computers/servers, support any combination of computers with different video inputs. The switch also supports both USB and PS/2 connections for the computers.
The KVM Cat5 LCD KVM over IP Switch allows access and control up to 8 / 16 / 24 / 32 computers from a single console (keyboard, mouse, and monitor). Which features IP-based connectivity that allows local and remote operators to monitor and access the computers concurrently. With TCP/IP communications protocol, you can access the connected servers from any computer on the LAN, WAN, or Internet.
The IP Switch helps extend the distance to the servers up to 100m via RJ-45 connectors and Cat5e/6 cables. It’s easy to set up the Cat5 LCD KVM Console, just plug the cable into the appropriate port, no software needed, no complicated installation procedures, and no compatibility issues. It’s easy to switch between computers by front panel pushbuttons, OSD (on-screen display) or keyboard hotkey command.
To enhance security, the Console provides two-level password security which prevents unauthorized users to viewing and controlling the connected computers.
